“I learnt this skill at the age of 8 years. In our neighborhood, there was a cobbler and I was attracted to his work. So I became his shagard for Rs.10-20 per week. As I learnt the skill and became master then I was receiving wages of Rs. 70 per day” says Muhammad Rehman, who is now doing this work for last 20 years.
